Food is the fuel for life and thus always a part of life, therefore, as life and health status changes, so should one’s diet. It is time to stop associating the word diet with weight-loss, when in actual fact, any pattern of eating is termed a ‘diet’. Unfortunately, what the media tells us about diet is aimed at everyone, yet no two individuals are the same.

Since health is a lifelong concern, diet can never be an easy fix, and should therefore rather be a lifestyle change appropriate for each individual.
